Fujitsu has developed a new AI platform that companies can use autonomously. The platform is designed to optimize the development, operation, and incremental learning of AI models and will be gradually introduced in Japan and Europe. According to Fujitsu, this is in response to the increasing demand for secure and sovereign AI solutions that can be deeply integrated into internal company processes.
Data Sovereignty and Dedicated Infrastructure
A key focus of the new solution is data security and sovereignty. Companies often face the challenge of requiring generative AI while having to meet strict rules for the protection of confidential data. Fujitsu's new platform addresses this problem by providing a dedicated, closed environment that prevents data from leaking outside.
This infrastructure can be deployed flexibly: Customers have the choice of installing the platform either in their own data centers (on-premise) or in Fujitsu's data centers. Technically, the offering is based on the Private AI Platform on PRIMERGY and Private GPT, with which Fujitsu puts together a package that can be implemented quickly even without extensive specialized knowledge. This significantly lowers the barriers to entry, as problems such as a shortage of AI specialists or complex operational management tasks are mitigated by the package solution.
The Takane Model and Efficiency Increase
The heart of the generative capabilities is the LLM "Takane," which Fujitsu developed together with Cohere Inc. The model is characterized by high precision in the Japanese language as well as capabilities for image analysis. To minimize resource consumption in companies, Fujitsu relies on technologies for slimming down the models. This can reduce memory consumption by up to 94 percent. In addition, the platform integrates quantization technologies, which further reduce operating costs and simultaneously improve performance.

Comprehensive Security Mechanisms for Corporate Use
For secure operation in companies, Fujitsu has taken various precautions. The platform has a scanner for potential vulnerabilities that can identify over 7,700 different types. This is supplemented by guardrail technologies that detect and suppress malicious attacks such as prompt injections, inappropriate outputs, or unexpected behavior both before execution and during runtime.
A particular advantage for companies without deep AI expertise is the automated generation of rules for detected vulnerabilities. This enables stable and secure AI operation even for non-specialists. Fujitsu also plans to further strengthen technologies for preventing hallucinations to increase the reliability of the generated information even further.
Use Cases and Benefits through AI Agents
The platform is not only designed for pure text generation but actively promotes the use of AI agents to solve complex business tasks. Through a low-code/no-code framework, on-site teams can quickly and efficiently develop their own AI agents without needing in-depth programming knowledge.
A concrete use case is the seamless integration into existing corporate systems. The platform supports the MCP protocol, which enables communication between different agents and connection to existing data sources. This allows companies to realize sophisticated applications in which several AI agents work cooperatively together, for example, to control business processes autonomously or carry out specific analyses. Fujitsu also plans to offer its own proprietary technologies as containerized AI agents on demand.
Availability and Outlook
Interested companies can register for preliminary tests starting February 2, 2026, where functions such as internal fine-tuning and model quantization can be tested. The official market launch of the complete platform is planned for July 2026. Fujitsu intends to expand the use of the platform to all AI scale levels in the future, from large enterprise AI to edge and physical AI, in order to drive digital transformation across all industries.
