The plan is to develop and market high-level sites for data centers and the next generation of digital infrastructure in the Nordic countries and Canada. The new company is a joint venture between BW Digital and BW ESS, both subsidiaries of the BW Group. BW Velora will combine BW Digital’s experience in digital infrastructure with BW ESS’s expertise in building energy infrastructure in Europe. A key focus will be on access to renewable energy. This also includes providing land and utilities, obtaining necessary permits, and offering design and execution services. This holistic approach aims to reduce risks, simplify project management, and accelerate the market entry of data centers.
